A Nod to Our Roots
SCL’s ethos was influenced by founder and creative force Vicky Brown’s journey from her peaceful upbringing in rural Missouri to the high-rises of corporate America. Holding a business degree from Truman State University and an accounting degree from the University of North Texas, she climbed the corporate ladder to become a CFO in Texas’s vibrant cities.
However, as she navigated between the city’s hustle and the tranquility of her rural roots, she recognized a need for fashion that combined urban sophistication with rural charm. This realization birthed SCL, fusing fashion-forward elegance with country chic, catering to women who desire the perfect blend of both worlds.
